Add flax seed meal to your favoriterecipes for bread, pancakes, muffins and cookies: reduce the flour by up to 25percent and replace it with milled flaxseed. You can also replace oil orshortening in a recipe with ground flaxseed meal: for best results, substituteflax at a 3:1 ratio. Or, use ground flaxseed meal as an egg replacer in bakedgoods: add 2 tablespoons ground flax to 3 tablespoons water and use the flaxgel to replace one egg.
