瑞士最受歡迎的乳酪，以弗里堡（Fribourg）附近風景如畫的格律耶爾（Gruyere）小鎮為名，它的歷史可追溯到1072年。品質最佳者是夏季的高山產區，正當乳牛能夠在戶外放養之時。　　

這款瑞士的AOP葛瑞爾乳酪，厚厚的洗式外皮帶著一如台灣年糕的金黃色澤，又有如麥芽糖般的些微晶瑩剔透，質地為半硬質，淡金黃色的乳酪團相當結實又像是凝固的麥芽糖一般，乳酪本身的香氣與風味飽滿，鹹味溫和偏濃，入口後猶如鹹味牛奶糖夾著堅果，更像是呈現明顯的鹹味杏仁果與奶油的交融香氣與風味，越吃越香，越吃越好吃，真的讓人不自覺的一口接著一口。

這款乳酪很適合當作零嘴點心來吃，也很適合夾麵包吐司、配酒、配咖啡、煮乳酪火鍋
