楓糖漿之所以珍貴，是因為楓樹在冬季時會製造糖分儲存於根部，春天時楓汁會轉存到樹枝中，楓糖的採集方式為，採糖時必須在楓樹上鑿洞並取集汁液，加拿大官方國家規定每年三月至四月初時為採集楓糖汁季節，只有純楓糖汁液才能提煉出真正的楓糖漿，加拿大為世界上最大的楓糖漿生產國，也是環境最乾淨天然、產出品質最好的楓糖漿

料理應用:
