Thefull-flavoured Appenzeller® Gold Label owes its strength to the maturationperiod of at least four months. Like all Appenzeller® cheeses, it owes itsunique flavour to the dedicated application of the mysterious herbal brine. Therecipe for this brine has been a strictly guarded secret for centuries. TheGold Label version is distinguished by its gold label.

 

Appenzelleris an extremely popular and versatile cheese, whether you’re serving it as thegolden centrepiece of your cheese platter, baking it into your favouritemuffins or warming it up as part of a creamy cheese fondue.
